The Museum's central venue has been the internet websites which we have and will continue to develop and we expect to maintain this focus because the internet provides an excellent and low cost platform to presenting the museum's collection and advance its programs which are oriented toward the specific arts communities it is intended to serve namely the community of contemporary artists and art groups which the museum maintains contact with - Post-Dogmatists, The Massurrealist Society, The FluxNexus, The Neoist Society, etc..  While it is impossible to be completely inclusive, the Museum staff strives to avoid any attitudes of exclusivity and maintains an open door, open arms and open mind policy.

We will continue to grow and expand and plan for the future to create a special and exciting collection of contemporary art and to document as much as we are able with the help of the community we aim to serve.

We invite you to join in and contribute to the museum through initiating projects which can be archived on the museum's website. Documentory projects especially are welcome.

The museum relies completely on its membership for funding. To contribute and become a member please see this page

We encourage visitors to take photographs in the Museum for their personal enjoyment. To protect the objects being photographed, the copyright privileges of their creators, and the safety of our visitors, however, there are certain restrictions on taking photographs in the Museum.

Flashes and tripods, as well as movie and video cameras are prohibited.

Still photography of the permanent collection, taken in existing light and without flash, is permitted on the condition that the photographs are solely for personal, non-commercial use.

Photographs may not be published, sold, reproduced, transferred, distributed or otherwise commercially exploited in any manner whatsoever. The Museum reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to withhold and/or withdraw permission to photograph on its premises or to reproduce photographs of objects in its collection.

If you are interested in obtaining a publication-quality photograph of an object in our collection, either for publication or study purposes, please contact the Museum's Registration Department by e-mailing info@ontologicalmuseum.org.
